The Commit-Reveal Pattern: Verifiable & Deterministic
To ensure games are completely safe from miner-extractable value (MEV) manipulation and totally verifiable by the player, Kalijo Games uses a Two-Step Commit-Reveal Architecture.
Zero-Friction UX
A typical commit-reveal pattern requires the player to sign two transactions. At Kalijo Games, the Whitelisted Settler handles the second transaction! You just click play once, and the settler bot resolves the game automatically behind the scenes.
1. Verifiable
Anyone can view the GameSettled event to see the exact seed generated from the blockchain's block hash. You can replay the game logic locally and arrive at the exact same result.
2. Deterministic
With a specific seed and player configuration, the game board is pre-destined. The frontend just rebuilds the state off the seed and animates it beautifully.
3. Failsafe
If the Settler bot ever goes offline, standard players can permissionlessly trigger the settlement themselves, guaranteeing funds are never stuck!
NFTrees & NFTreeStats
The NFTrees original ERC-721 tokens are leveled up via the independent NFTreeStats contract, granting permanent on-chain stat modifiers across all Kalijo games.
